What's With The Cat In The Hat?

My spanish speaking loved ones would often tell me " Jason, tu eres un leon afeitado." The translation is Jason, you are a shavened lion. My family and close friends mean the world to me. After three (3) delicate brain surgeries at the age of 12 years old I walked into my freshman high school with a hat on. I was the only person inside the class allowed to keep his head wear on due to the potential insensitivity of others and the necessity to ensure the promotion of unadulterated psychological healing.
