My spanish speaking loved ones would often tell me " Jason, tu eres un leon afeitado." The translation is Jason, you are a shavened lion. My family and close friends mean the world to me. After three (3) delicate brain surgeries at the age of 12 years old I walked into my freshman high school with a hat on. I was the only person inside the class allowed to keep his head wear on due to the potential insensitivity of others and the necessity to ensure the promotion of unadulterated psychological healing. For our mental health and maintaining ideal mental hygeine is absolutely vital.

We all have a date of origin, our birth certificate and social security number is our manufacturing date, our genesis. We are all created and born without any of our own permission, we just entered into existence through the doorway of our mothers womb without any of our own knowledge or forethought. I have often asked myself "Who am i" and along the journey of life and the acknowledgment of self i have gasped and say "i Am Who?"

Our 5 senses play a very important role in the human experience. The physical electrically powered brain organ and the intangible mind are 2 entirely different things. Who really makes sense? By being curious I began to look up at the universe with awe and amazement. See my parents did not create in me, my sense of sight, hearing, tasting, feeling, smell, emotions, thoughts, nor the ability to dream. We are not powered by batteries. When I look up I find the moon floating on nothing. There are no wires, no scaffolding. The sun is an amazing fire ball suspended in the air. Here on earth we rely on dollars and cents BUT I began to ask myself... "Who really makes sense?"
